Aqil Sohail is the Founder of ACEQAP, a specialist advisory and investment firm that is dedicated to supporting private equity funds, family offices, and growth-stage businesses with M&A strategy & execution, value creation initiatives, and capital raising.
With 15+ years of global experience across Europe, North America, Asia, and Africa, Aqil has led complex international and cross-border M&A transactions, garnered international corporate finance experience across the capital structure, and held active board and operational roles across multiple companies and sectors including technology, business services, financial services and retail, consumer & leisure.
Prior to founding ACEQAP, Aqil held senior investment roles at leading firms including Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, CCMP Capital and B&B Investment Partners (Walgreens Boots Alliance dedicated growth capital fund). Aqil started his career at Lazard, executing high-value M&A transactions and delivering corporate finance advice before moving into private equity.
